Amazon debuts Junglee.com in India, the online giant shall now have a dedicated retail service for Indian consumers with reviews (something amazon is known for) and online/offline support. But that’s the news bit, my curiosity got the better of me hearing the brand name ” junglee” ?! , .. what’s that all about ? The logo cradles a “tilak / tika” over the J with a subtle orange to a darker orange gradient. The first time I heard of this, …”junglee”, ..sounded like some poor campaign frill aimed to address the “whacky”, ..least said and before I start ranting, …this is plain sad :(
